DaryI sees himself as a Storyteller - in which lighting is his medium of expression, to convey moods, messages and stories. He also sees himself as a collaborator, strongly believing that in theatre one of the most valuable attributes of a designer is their ability to communicate openly and effectively with all involved - this being the best way to bring any vision to fruition.

Daryl received his MFA in Theatre Arts, Lighting Design at Virginia Tech and is currently pursuing his 2nd MFA in Creative Technologies at Virginia Tech. During his time in the US, Daryl was glad for the opportunity to work with prestigious companies such as Santa Fe Opera, Des Moines Opera, and Available Light.
